2023 Backyard BBQ Competition

The 11th Annual Cookin' on Kampeska will be held July 14 & 15, 2023 and this year's event will again feature two Backyard BBQ Competitions. Friday night, teams will be put to the test to see who knows their beef and compete in the 3rd Annual People's Choice Chislic Competition. Saturday, the crowd will return for more BBQ action as teams compete for the coveted Backyard BBQ trophy in the 8^th Annual People's Choice Pulled Pork Competition. Showmanship will also be awarded to the team with the most original theme and show to their cook site and sample station. One team will be awarded per People's Choice Competition.

In addition to the People's Choice, teams can also choose to turn in their finished product to a panel of judges. The panel will get the opportunity to conduct a blind taste test and decide who is the Chislic Champion Friday night and the Pulled Pork Champion Saturday.

Registration fee is $200 per team and includes 1 campsite for Wednesday through Sunday camping, 2 Team Parking Passes, and all the meat needed for cooking competitions.
