Scott A. Moes, Co-Owner of MoDak Dairy died in a pick-up rollover accident on March 20, 2016. Scott loved hunting and made it possible for Vo-Tech students to come to the dairy to do hands on training.
The plans are to hold a Silent Auction on July 18th at the Bird’s Nest. Activities will start at 2:00 PM with clay pigeon shooting (Sponsored in part by Brotherhood Arms, Watertown).
Through the rest of the afternoon and evening other games and activities will be offered for adults and children. The evening meal will be a beef barbecue with the meat provided
by MoDak Dairy & cheese by Valley Queen. The Silent Auction will conclude that evening after the games and meal.
For those who would like the option to spend the night they can choose to stay in one of the beds at the Bird’s Nest or use one of the hook-ups for a camper if they choose to bring their camper (Call Julie Moes to reserve any accommodations at the Birds Nest). Madison, SD, is the closest town with hotel accommodation’s (12 Miles).
We are asking for donated items for the Silent Auction. Donated product can either be brought to the Bird’s Nest on the day of the auction or dropped off a MoDak Dairy prior to the auction.
We are also asking that you review, promote and bid on auction items to add to this memorial fund at Lake Area Technical School.
All auction communication will be handled by Todd Franz, friend of Scott. Please text or email Todd (contact information is below) with the items you wish to donate.
