    We celebrated Peace Love Green 2017 on March 18th with the St. Patrick's Day Celebration! This great event included the Shamrock Shuffle 5-K, Little Miss Shamrock and Mr. Leprechaun Contest, and a celebratory St. Patrick's Parade! Below is the 20178 details.

    Shamrock Shuffle 5K Fun Run/Walk registration will begin at 9:00am at the Knights of Columbus Hall. The 5K will begin at 10:00am and end with a GREEN color explosion celebratory finish. Wear festive attire; awards will be given to best dressed man, woman, boy, and girl! Pre-registered participants are guaranteed a t-shirt the day of the event. Pre-registration is $25, day of registration is $30.

    Registration is now CLOSED for the Shamrock Shuffle!

    Little Miss Shamrock and Mr. Leprechaun Contest will take place at 11:00am. Details will be released at a later date.

    St. Patrick's Parade will begin at 12:00pm. The route will begin at Immaculate Conception Church and work its way west on 1st Avenue, loop around 1st Street, and continue east on Kemp Avenue to the Senior Citizen's Center.

    Win a fridge filled with Guinness and corned beef! Buttons are being sold for a chance to win! Buttons are $5 each. Local establishments will offer discounts for people wearing their buttons during the celebration. This giveaway is sponsored by Discount Liquors, Dugan's Sales & Service, and Hy-Vee Foods.

    Win a trip for two to Ireland! The raffle was held March 20th at noon at Dempsey's Pub. Tickets are available at the Chamber for  $20 each. The Winner will receive 6 night/7 day trip to Ireland. Value is transferable to the annual Chamber Trip or $1,500 cash. Winner does not need to be present. This drawing is sponsored by Brown Clinic, Dempsey's Pub, KXLG Radio, Pederson Travel Services,the Watertown Public Opinion, and Watertown Radio.
