    On November 10th, from 2-4, author Sean J. Flynn will be visiting to talk about and sign his new book. Sean Flynn is a graduate of South Dakota State University and a graduate Texas Tech University where he earned his M.A. and Ph.D degrees in history. Flynn is a member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe and a descendant of the Lakota leader, Spotted Tail. He is the author of Without Reservation Benjamin Reifel and American Acculturation. This book is a biography about Benjamin Reifel, the first Lakota to serve in the United States Congress. Benjamin Reifel made a career out of straddling two different cultures and Flynn shows him as a man who prospered in the American mainstream without forgetting his culture.
